With ad networks, I take it you mean contextual ad networks such as Google Adsense, Kontera, Bidvertiser, Google Adwords, Burst Media, TribalFusion and their like.
From the perspective of a publisher who uses ad networks to earn from advertising:
- The benefit of ad networks is that they have the size, leverage, sales people and manpower to do all the work of selling advertising for you.
- They manage all collection and billing
- They are able to attract big advertisers because of their leverage in terms of size given the number of publishers and the amount of pageviews they can serve
- You don’t have to worry about ad serving technology as they provide it, including geotargeting and other bells and whistles
From the perspective of an advertiser who uses an ad network to advertise:
- Allows the advertiser greater reach for their ad
- Has more robust ad serving tools that allow for better optimization of their campaigns
- Has stricter fraud measures in place to prevent click fraud (not eradicating the risk totally, but at least minimizing them)
- Allows you more option in terms of selection of where your ad will be placed

How can a landingpage/capture page be useful or more profitable to my online advertising in network marketing?

admin answers:
A landing page is helpful in that many visitors who may be interested in an opportunity will fill out the contact information for you to send them more information. It is usually short and to the point about your business and does not obligate them to join your business to receive the information. It also helps find out if someone is interested in your business itself or just in purchasing the products.
You should include a link to your retail page for those who would prefer to purchase and not join the business.
It is a good thing to have links to any and all company information that they can view without giving personal information as that can drive some prospects away. For the lead capture for those who are really interested, you could offer a free e-book with instructions on how to get started and what type of training your company has to offer. If they are truly interested, they will request the information and you can keep in touch with them from there, letting them know of any new products or changes in the company.
While I may have several websites pertaining to the same business, I use my landing page the most due to the fact that it pretty much has all the information a visitor may need to decide if they are interested in the business or products.
Hope this helps! I wish you all the best in 2011
