It is whatever you negotiate, but the usual split ranges from 60/40 to 40/60 (meaning that you and the network split revenue in those percentages; I’ve also seen 45/55, and 50/50 is quite common).
Google AdSense actually does not tell you what the commission split really is — you just have to trust them.
Note also that the revenue split is only for “sold” inventory. Some networks may charge you for ad delivery, so that if your space is unsold you may owe the network money.

How does Australia compare to the US in technology (mobile adoption, broadband, online-blogs, social networks)
I’m asking this question because I’m spending some time abroad and I want to choose a technologically advanced region to continue my career in interactive advertising. Any information about online consumer behavior would be extremely helpful. For example, to what degree do Australians embrace new media like blogging, online video, and social media.

Are there any ad networks delivering online ads on a cpm basis?
How many viewers will I need to show these ad networks in order to receive CPM based advertising?
admin answers:
This is great alternative of adsense. In adsense you get money only when ads are clicked but in this website you get $30 for displaying ads on your website for a month. When you join this, they pay you $30 dollars per month for putting one link on 5 pages of your website, and you can submit as many websites as you like. This means that if you have 5 websites, you could earn $150 per month.

what does preembtable mean in the context of online advertising?
I am trying to understand how remnant ad networks work

Hi,
I have a lot of experience marketing small companies online (I have 3 companies). One of the best ways is to sign up at business directories and protals. These are basically listings of businesses (simliar to the phone book). The advantage is that these portals usually get a lot of traffic and they’re ranked high on Google because of all the quality links they contain.
My favorite portal is called Directory Exclusive. I signed up a few weeks ago because they’re giving a away a free business card holder when a person enter’s their company info. I received it in the mail 3 days ago =)
I don’t know if they still have that promotion, but you can try to get the free card holder here:

I’m looking for a potential partner to start an online social networking site. Any ideas where to search?
I’m starting an online social networking niche site and I’m looking for a potential partner with a good internet/computer and business background who would be interested in helping me launch and build a successful business. Anyone know of any sources online to advertise for such a person? I’m not trying to hire someone. I’m looking for someone to partner which means 50/50 contribution. The site is nearly built, but I need someone with a more business background to take it to the next level.
